What Type of Cookware Can I Customize?

Cookware

If you work in a restaurant or in the food service industry, you probably know, or have heard, that custom cookware is a great way to get your name out there and your brand recognized. At LoTech Sales, we customize a variety of cookware, including Acacia wood, bamboo, pizza cutters, serving utensils, specialty items, and more.

Acacia Wood

Acacia wood is a long-lasting hardwood native to Australia and Hawaii. The Hawaiian Koa is one of the most sought-after and expensive woods in the world because of the quality of wood. It has a Janka hardness scale of 1,790, making the wood durable. Acacia wood is known for its natural and contrasting grain and its unique character. It also won’t absorb liquids or odors and can be easily maintained by handwashing and left to air dry.

Bamboo

Bamboo is technically a grass and is not considered a wood because it grows back quickly, usually within 3-5 years. It’s somewhat porous but considered harder than wood. Care is fairly simple and straightforward. Prime your bamboo with mineral oil, remembering to refresh it every month or two. Cleaning is simple as well. Wash with mild soap and rinse and dry immediately. Bamboo is also a renewable resource and an eco-friendly choice.

Pizza cutters, serving utensils, and specialty items are also often sought-after customized cookware.

How Does It Work?

We use a process called the Hot Stamp process. This is where we use an etched copper die, foil and heat to hand press your logo onto the product of your choice. The imprint area is ½” x 1 ⅞”  for utensils, 3” x 1 ¼” for a 5” pizza cutter, and 2” x 2” for bamboo and acacia wood boards, depending on product and size, so a standard die will work for any of our utensils, saving you money on set-up fees. The good news is you own the die so you can keep the die or leave it with us. Just keep in mind that we’ll need the die each time you order. Also, if you change the color or design, you’ll need a new set-up.

You can send your logo via email. We accept various types of files, including psd, ai, aps, tif, jpeg, and pdf files. You also have the ability to choose from one of our colors or we’ll do our best to match yours. Do you have a graphic artist? Great, we can work with them! If you don’t have a logo or a design in mind, that’s okay, too. Our professionals can come up with different designs for you to choose from.

Give us a call. We’ll be with you every step of the way. Our customer sales professionals are standing by and ready to help you place an order. Even though our company has grown quite a bit, we still pride ourselves on a “small business” feel. We’ll get your products shipped usually within seven days of placing your order.
